July 1, 2026 What a great way to end this week’s serving events!
Last night at Midweek Manna at First Baptist Church of Decatur, we were blessed by the kindness & gratitude of every guest we served. Their smiles & heartfelt appreciation were an encouragement to all of our volunteers.
Thank you to everyone who served, gave & prayed. Above all, we give God all the glory for allowing us to feed His sheep — physically & spiritually.

Monday Meals at Word of Life Ministries
June 29, 2026 Last night was another reminder that Feed My Sheep Squared is about much more than serving a meal.
Our volunteers create something that can’t be measured on a plate. They create a place where people know they are welcome, where conversations happen, friendships grow & hope is shared. Every smile, every helping hand, every word of encouragement reminds our guests that they are seen, valued & loved.
One of the greatest gifts our volunteers give is consistency. Every other Monday, they faithfully show up — not because they have to, but because they care. That steady presence builds trust & demonstrates Christ’s love in a powerful way.
To every volunteer who gave your time, your energy & your heart last night, thank you. Feed My Sheep Squared would not be possible without you. You are making an eternal difference, one act of service at a time.

June 17, 2026 What a wonderful evening at Feed My Sheep Squared’s Midweek Manna!
We were blessed to serve another delicious meal & spend time with some truly amazing people. The folks who joined us were so welcoming, kind, & appreciative. Seeing the smiles, hearing the conversations & sharing fellowship together reminds us why we do what we do.
A special thank you goes to our incredible volunteers. Their servant hearts, hard work & dedication make every event possible. From meal preparation & serving to setup, cleanup & everything in between, they continually demonstrate the love of Christ through their actions.
We are grateful for everyone who attended & for every volunteer who gave their time to serve others. Together, we are building friendships, strengthening our community & sharing God’s love one meal at a time.
We look forward to seeing everyone again soon!

We are in a war against food insecurity in Northwest Arkansas.

Last year, we stated that 13.1 percent of households in Northwest Arkansas face food insecurity.
-
This year, the statewide increase in the state of Arkansas rose to 18.9%
-
The need to address food insecurity, particularly child hunger in Arkansas is painfully well documented, where nearly 1 in 5 people struggle with hunger.
-
Arkansas has the highest level of food insecurity in the country, according to the United States Department of Agriculture.
-
In fact, Arkansas has some of the highest rates of food insecurity in the nation. Significantly higher than the rest of the nation.
-
In 2018, a Feeding America study found that 163,800 children in Arkansas -- or about 23.2 percent of the state’s children -- were food insecure.
-
Feeding America’s 2024 Map the Meal Gap report (based on 2022 data) indicates 18.6% of Arkansas (567,000 people) faced food insecurity...
-
...With 25.6% of children
(1 in 4) lacking access to healthy food. -
The USDA’s 2023 report shows that 16.6% of Arkansas households were food insecure between 2020 and 2023.

The USDA’s 2024 report shows an increase to 18.9% households.

Benton County Food Insecurity rate in 2020 was 14%.
-
That rate has now been documented as a decrease to 11%.
