Midweek Manna at First Baptist Church of Decatur
August 12, 2026 The August heat did not deter our guests from coming to Midweek Manna on August 12! Feed My Sheep Squared was blessed to serve another wonderful meal while sharing the love of Christ with our community.
Our amazing volunteers helped prep & serve Parmesan chicken topped with a creamy Parmesan sauce, green beans, corn, garlic bread & Little Debbie™ snack cakes — all with smiling faces & servant hearts.
A special thank you to Simmons Foods & McKee Foods for donating food ingredients that make meals like this possible.
We also want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Brandon Ellis Family for sponsoring all three of this week’s ministry events. Your generosity is helping us feed God’s sheep, physically & spiritually.
Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated & joined us. We are grateful to serve alongside such an incredible community.

Monthly Community Widows Luncheon at Family Church of Siloam Springs
August 11, 2026 Today, Feed My Sheep Squared was honored to host our August Community Widows Luncheon.
Thank you to the Brandon Ellis Family for sponsoring today’s luncheon. We also want to thank the Accounting Team from Cobb Vantress in Siloam Springs for helping prepare & serve the meal. What a great group of servant-minded volunteers!
One of the best parts of the day was seeing the ladies share their quilts & the stories behind them. The fellowship, laughter & memories made for a special afternoon.
James 1:27 reminds us that caring for widows is close to God’s heart. It is a privilege & an honor to serve the widows in our community with compassion, dignity & respect.
Thank you to everyone who helped make today so special.

Monday Meals at Word of Life Ministries
August 10, 2026 Thank you to the Brandon Lett family for sponsoring last night’s Monday Meals.
The Parmesan Chicken was a big hit with our guests. Our Board Members operated the FMS² Mobile Kitchen & served Parmesan Chicken, Kathy’s special green beans, corn, garlic bread & Little Debbie™ snack cakes.
A special thank you to Simmons Foods and McKee Foods for supplying ingredients for the meal & thank you to the generous donor who provided free school supplies so children could be prepared for the new school year.
We are grateful for every volunteer, donor & sponsor who makes this ministry possible. Because of your generosity, Feed My Sheep Squared continues to feed God’s sheep both physically & spiritually with compassion, dignity & respect.

We are in a war against food insecurity in Northwest Arkansas.
-
Last year, we stated that 13.1 percent of households in Northwest Arkansas face food insecurity.
-
This year, the statewide increase in the state of Arkansas rose to 18.9%
-
The need to address food insecurity, particularly child hunger in Arkansas is painfully well documented, where nearly 1 in 5 people struggle with hunger.
-
Arkansas has the highest level of food insecurity in the country, according to the United States Department of Agriculture.
-
In fact, Arkansas has some of the highest rates of food insecurity in the nation. Significantly higher than the rest of the nation.
-
In 2018, a Feeding America study found that 163,800 children in Arkansas -- or about 23.2 percent of the state’s children -- were food insecure.
-
Feeding America’s 2024 Map the Meal Gap report (based on 2022 data) indicates 18.6% of Arkansas (567,000 people) faced food insecurity...
-
...With 25.6% of children
(1 in 4) lacking access to healthy food. -
The USDA’s 2023 report shows that 16.6% of Arkansas households were food insecure between 2020 and 2023.

The USDA’s 2024 report shows an increase to 18.9% households.
-
Benton County Food Insecurity rate in 2020 was 14%.
-
That rate has now been documented as a decrease to 11%.
